  Come meet our adoptable furry friends! Come to adopt, come to mingle, come to learn more about volunteering or fostering! We'd love to chat with you!

  If you are coming with the intention to meet an adoptable dog to bring into your home, please email us at adoptions@sccrescue.org to confirm that the dog will be at this particular event and let us know you're interested. Also, please bring all family members (including any other dogs!) so we can see how everyone interacts. The best time to come is between 11am-1pm in order to ensure the dog you are interested in is still available. Thanks!

Second City Canine Rescue’s mission is to rescue homeless animals and responsibly place them into permanent, loving homes.

SCCR is extremely selective about the dogs we take into our program. We are very “local-minded” and 100% volunteer-run.
